🏠 Are you truly at home in your life?

Hey beautiful soul,

I hope this finds you taking a slow summer breath and soaking in a little peace today. 💛

This week on the podcast, we’re talking about something that goes way beyond four walls and a roof.
We’re exploring what it means to create a healthy home — inside and out.

Because “home” isn’t just the place you live.
It’s also the space you create inside your mind, your body, your spirit.

A deeper look at “home”…

When I was on a recent call with a client, we found ourselves talking about this very concept.

When creating wellness from a holistic lens, we are always talking about both the physical and the internal home. She had an aha moment putting together the idea of working on the physical home including home space, nutrition and movement, but hadn’t really considered what it meant to create a safe, nurturing home within herself on her healing journey.

That inner home is just as important or sometimes even more. It’s the thoughts you think, the beliefs you carry, the way you speak to yourself when no one else is listening.

YOUR THOUGHTS DRIVE YOUR WELLNESS

Our thoughts are powerful. They can calm us, uplift us, or stress us right out.
If you’re constantly thinking, “I’m failing. I’m behind. I’ll never change,” your nervous system hears that message.
It stays on high alert, keeping you in fight-or-flight — which over time impacts everything from hormones to digestion to how well you sleep.

A gentle invitation: CHALLENGE THOSE THOUGHTS

Have you ever noticed how a single thought can change your day if you allow it to take over? When you notice a harsh or fearful thought pop up, pause and ask:

  • Is this absolutely true?
  • Is this thought serving me, or hurting me?
  • What’s a more loving or curious way to look at this?

Ways to regulate your nervous system

Because when your nervous system feels safe, your whole body heals better. 💫

Here are a few small ways to help you come back to center:
🌱 Place your hand on your heart and take 5 slow breaths.
🌱 Step outside barefoot for 2 minutes — let the earth ground you.
🌱 Try a simple prayer or repeat, “I am safe, I am loved, I am supported.”
🌱 Shake out your hands or do a gentle stretch to release stuck energy.

These tiny moments of calm create a more peaceful internal home, which ripples out into every part of your wellness.

I’d love to hear from you…

What’s one small way you can nurture your home this week — whether it’s your physical space or your inner world?
Hit reply and share it with me. I’m always cheering you on. 💖

Sending you so much love,
Robin

I’ve made it through every stage of life—from childhood to college to momming to midlife—not because I had all the answers, but because I had my tribes. College? I had my roommates and late-night chats.Early motherhood? I leaned hard on my mom-friends and playdate tribes. The teen years? Oof. I needed prayer, patience, and friends who just got it.College drop-offs? I cried after drop off texting my support...

Happy Friday Mama, Have you ever wondered why so many people are now "sensitive" (not celiac) to gluten? Is it really the gluten, just the gluten or could it also be something else? The little bumps on our (me and my daughter) arms and upper shoulders would come and go. The gut issues, the autoimmune issues. At first, I thought: Welp, gluten sensitivity. Time to cut it out. But something didn’t sit right. So on my health journey I dug deeper (as us mamas tend to do when our gut says, “This...
