What makes you feel energized? 🌟


Hey there,

Do you watch the weather daily? I am not one that looks often. So...when we were leaving for the beach and my daughter says we need to hurry because that day and part of the next would be the only sunny days you just ignore it and keep going. LOL....Come to find out we were going to have a tropical storm. LOL No, I do not live under a rock, but I was actually happy to be blissfully unaware and thankful it was not bad. We still had fun. Watched the Olympics, had lots of laughs, saw a movie, went to new restaurants, got on each others nerves, listened to DJ play the guitar, walked with Ans in the wind on the beach. A quite unusual beach trip, but I thought this was fitting for the season of change that is approaching.

As I returned home, I was quickly thrown back into life with the 3 day Summit. I did 1 break out session and got to be in 10 others. WOW....so many great take aways each day! Being surrounded by women who are not only on a journey of growth but taking their wisdom and experience and pouring into other women is just what this world needs. I felt so energized and my heart was full. So many great topics and personally I took so many 1% shifts I am going to apply going forward. Here are just a few:

  1. The middle path, balancing work/life and worth, is key to finding fulfillment.
  2. Dealing with triggers and difficult emotions is a part of the healing process. It is important to listen to our bodies and reflect on our feelings.
  3. Meditation and breathwork can have profound effects on pain management, anxiety, and overall wellness. Regulating the nervous system is essential for overall well-being.
  4. Our cracks and imperfections are what make us resilient and unique.
  5. Build a supportive community and cultivate joy.
  6. Recognizing and expressing your core values can lead to greater impact and positive change in your personal and professional life.
  7. The window of tolerance is our capacity to cope with life's stressors, and when it becomes narrow, we are more prone to burnout.
  8. Examining our thoughts and feelings when fear arises can help determine if it is necessary or if we can overcome it
  9. Forgiveness does not mean condoning or forgetting the actions of others, but rather letting go of resentment and finding inner peace.
  10. Self-awareness and knowing one's own needs and values are essential in creating a sense of community.
  11. The best leaders are the most curious students.
